Initially, Lyon Construction built custom homes along with some light commercial work. A few years later Lyon had successfully completed several major projects for prominent area businesses such as RJ Reynolds, and developed a reputation for providing both excellent construction management and high quality workmanship. By the late 1980’s Lyon Construction had firmly established its reputation as a quality institutional and commercial construction company.
Over the last 15 years Lyon Construction, Inc. has focused primarily on competitive bid public projects including schools and government buildings. More than 50% of this work has been new school construction or renovations of existing school buildings. In addition, Lyon has earned a reputation for completing projects on time and within budget.
Today, Lyon is recognized as one of the Top Triad Area Builders. We employ 45 people full-time and manage annual construction revenues ranging from 25 to 30 million dollars. Our corporate personnel have been with us for an average of 15 years and are dedicated to serving our customers.
